Mark W. Rummel posted this photo on January 8, 2013 in the Facebook Group “You know you are from Sebewaing, MI when …”.  He said “HERE’S A PUZZLE: These are the two famous Sport Beer labels from our town’s Sebewaing Brewing Co. I’d estimate the left one is from 1950s and the right one was re-designed about 1960, probably after the “new” owners came in. Does anyone know for sure?

I remember the left one much more, but think the right one looks a little more modern and maybe newer. Any other ideas???”

Patricia Holland That beer tasted skunky but hubby was weaned on it I think. Jackie’s upholstery in the old Blade building is making cozies for cans and bottles with the labels printed on them……really cool!!!

Brent Kundinger i remember being in the label room with Scott Thede with boxes and boxes of labels, but never saw any of the ones on the right.

Don Taschner The brown label pre-dates the yellow. Sport Beer “went away” with the advent of Golden Pheasant and POM.
