About the Website Administrator

Scott M. Thede is the paternal grandson of Otto H. Thede.  Scott’s childhood home was immediately to the southeast of the brewery.

He has been employed at Ferris State University for 38 years. Scott received an associates and bachelor’s degree in electronics, a masters in Business Administration, and a certificate in Management Tools and Techniques. He is certified as a Balanced Scorecard Master Professional. Scott received the distinguished staff award and the College of Business Student Excellence Award at Ferris State University.

Scott has three children Kyle, Heather and Amanda.  As of May 2026, Scott is a grandfather of four.
