Scott M. Thede This photo would have been sometime between 1940 and 1950. The main doors are gone in the center due to the addition of the orange brew kettle and the main office stairway relocation to the outside.

He said “Another photo from the Frank and Joan Hofmeister collection – a 1953 story / ad about our favorite, Sebewaing Beer. They were selling the brown cans, old pheasant label regular Sebewaing Beer plus Sport Beer at that time.
Also, Art Mast is shown as the President and General Manager. He also had Mast Photo Studio, and took so many of these early CBWing photos from about 1910 to 1960 or so.”

Doug Rook It is amazing how many nutrients are released when a grain is sprouted. It’s hard to believe but Sebewaing Beer was actually a health beverage!

Mark W. Rummel posted this photo on July 1, 2013 in the Facebook Group “You know you are from Sebewaing, MI when …”. He said “For sale today on eBay is a Sebewaing Brewing Company label for “Brewers’ Best” Pilsener Beer, from the 1930s (soon after prohibition was ended.)
I don’t know much about this brand, since they no longer called it that in the 1950s when I first learned about the brewery. Maybe member William Harder can answer more questions — but you can buy this label and neck ring label if you want it!”
