The painted identification at the top shows “Huron County Brewery” and below etched in stone is the date “1896”. The year 1905 makes sense since there was a banquet for the Huron County Brewery mentioned in the local newspaper for November 1905.
A new photo surfaced of the brewery once located in Sebewaing, MI. This photo shows the Huron No. 1 Brewery. This photo would have been sometime after 1896. The local newspaper references a banquet for Huron County Brewing on November 11, 1905. At the top of the photo, “Huron No. 1 Brewery” is painted. This photo likely before 1905.
