About the Website Administrator
Scott M. Thede is the paternal grandson of Otto H. Thede. Scott’s childhood home was immediately to the southeast of the brewery.
He
has been employed at Ferris State University for 33 years. Scott received an associates and bachelor’s degree in electronics, a masters in Business Administration, and a certificate in Management Tools and Techniques. He is certified as a Balanced Scorecard Master Professional. Scott received the distinguished staff award and the College of Business Student Excellence Award at Ferris State University.
He is happily married to Jennifer Thede and they have three children Kyle Thede, Heather Thede and Amanda McMillan. As of January 22, 2021, Scott is now a grandfather with a granddaughter named Emma Lynne McMillan and Rhys Vernon Griffith! Scott also is the co-founder with his wife of the Michigan Elvis Presley Fan Club. This club put together shows that benefit various charities for military veterans, animal welfare, and holocaust survivors.
One of his hobbies is playing chess. If you like to play chess, you can find Scott on this site. He would love to play a game with a member of his hometown, any neighboring area, or fan of the Sebewaing Brewing Company! The GameKnot website is free.
